Many people said that they had shown a Quran Khuwani meeting in which many were reciting the Quran while others sat on sofas, which is deemed rude. A few even chastised those who spoke during the Quran Khuwani. People further said that Deepak Perwani could have demonstrated without carrying the Quran because he is not a Muslim.
