A few days ago, a video of great Pakistani musician Rahat Fateh Ali Khan became viral on social media. In the footage, the musician is seen thrashing his pupil after one of his valuable bottles went missing from his collection. The singer did, however, clarify about the bottle. He also publicly apologized for brutally hitting his student.

Following the viral video, several celebrities voiced their regret and outrage at Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s actions. Rabi Pirzada, an ace calligraphy artist and former vocalist, recently uploaded a video in which she expressed her thoughts on his unacceptable behavior.

Rabi Pirzada spoke about it, saying, “I had been watching Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s video for quite some time; I am a former singer; I didn’t want to talk about it at first, but my conscience wouldn’t let me. Let me tell you, these big singers employ such pupils for free, hardly paying them and promising to teach them music in exchange. If you pay them crores for an event, they barely pay the kids a few cents. You should take note of this. You just saw one video; many low-profile musicians are treated the same way.

When madam Noor Jahan died, his musicians declared, “Today, we have become orphans.” However, these vocalists are not like that right now; they are more concerned about their income. She added that after witnessing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s beating video, she was certain that his housekeeper was working for free. She went on to say, “Also, you leaped from a liquor bottle to a holy water bottle; you could have made another justification; you said it was propaganda, but you were the one who made the error that began it all. Rahat Bhai, we all make errors, but you apologized to the public. “You should apologize to Allah.”
