Rakhi Sawant has accepted Mufti Qavi’s marriage proposal
In a recent podcast, Mufti Qavi praised Indian actress Rakhi Sawant for converting to Islam and proposed marriage to her, to which Rakhi has now responded.
When asked about a possible marriage with Rakhi Sawant in the podcast, Mufti Qavi expressed conditional willingness, stating that if his mother gives her permission, he would be ready for the relationship, as he believes it is important to seek his mother’s approval.
Mufti Qavi clarified that, according to the research of scholars such as Dr. Zakir Naik, the Hindu religion’s holy book holds divine status, and therefore Rakhi Sawant falls under the category of “People of the Book,” making marriage with her permissible.
Talking about his first marriage, Mufti Qavi shared that he was married to a woman from a renowned family, which was as respectable as the families of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Gandhi Ji, and Jawaharlal Nehru. However, the marriage ended with the passing of his wife, but he still remembers his late wife with respect and honor.
On the other hand, Rakhi Sawant has now accepted Mufti Qavi’s proposal and shared her statement. In a recent interview, Rakhi Sawant said, “I am dying to marry a Maulana, Qavi Sahib, your name itself has ‘Qavi’ in it, please write ‘Kavita’ (poetry) for me.”
