Afzal Khan (John Rambo), advised married men to remain silent when their wives are angry. Recently, actor Rambo appeared on a morning show of a private TV channel alongside actor Saud, where the host, Madiha Naqvi, asked both personalities about the secret to a successful married life.
In response, John Rambo said, “If a man shows respect to his wife, people think he is afraid of her, but in reality, no one is afraid of their wife. It’s about giving her respect and love.”
According to Rambo, “A man who doesn’t give respect to his wife or any woman is not a real man. We should accept that just as men get angry, women can also raise their voices when angry. But the secret to our successful marriage is that when my wife is angry, I remain silent, and when I’m angry, she remains silent. The benefit is that even in a fight, it doesn’t escalate, because if one person gets angry and the other responds, the situation worsens.”
During the conversation, Rambo advised married men: “When your wife speaks, stay quiet. After 5 minutes, she will admit her mistake and even offer you a cup of tea. But if you respond, the issue will escalate, and she may even call her mother. So, it’s best to avoid such situations.”
It’s worth noting that Rambo and his wife, Sahiba, are considered one of the successful married couples in Pakistani showbiz. They married in 1997 and have two sons.
