Sadia Imam Reveals Her Husband Didn’t Want Her to Act
Sadia Imam recently disclosed that her husband did not want her to act in plays and prevented her from working in them. Sadia is a talented actor best known for her roles in Naseeb, Uljhan, Hum Say Juda Na Hona, Jab Jab Dil Miley, Colony 52, Dorhi, Tapish, Pehla Pyar, Nai Subh, Anokha Bandhan, Aangan Bhar Chandni, Koonj, and Aasman.
Sadia Imam recently appeared on Madeha Naqvi’s morning show, where she admitted that her spouse had prevented her from acting in dramas.
Sadia Imam said on the show, “People say we are showbiz people, and our lives are perfect, but that is not the case; we also have problems in real life. Now, my husband has prohibited me from working in the media industry. I’m not sure why; I was talented and industrious, and you embraced and admired me as a celebrity. I was still working, but he refused me because of his ego. Another difficulty is that males discourage their wives from taking jobs or working because they believe that these women will become wise, empowered, and independent, but this is their complex.”
