Shahood Alvi has been in the drama industry for 30 years and has an honest opinion on the parchi system that prevails in the field. Shahood Alvi explained that you can become an actor by visiting to several production houses or having your own parchi. He went on to say that he, too, began the industry as a parchi and is open about it. His uncle Iqbal Ansari introduced him to the drama business.
He went on to say that he has been working for 30 years now. The reality is that Parchi can get you in front of cameras 2-3 times, but you can only survive if you have talent and fan support.
