Haniya Aslam was one half of the famed band Zeb and Haniya, which she formed with her cousin and another famous performer, Zeb Bangash. Zeb and Haniya created some timeless tunes, such as Bibi Sanam Janam, that sound as fresh now as they did when they were first released. The heartbreaking news broke today that Haniya had died.
Haniya Aslam was an NCA alumnus who began her singing career alongside Zeb Bangash. The team then worked for Coke Studio, where they composed music for OSTs and even films.
