Sitaron Se Agay, directed by Wajahat Rauf and written by Amna Mufti, depicts the story of Aima, a little girl who aspires to be a world squash champion and is encouraged by her dedicated mother, Rabia. Despite being first rejected by her coach, Tahmasp Khan, Aima’s determination eventually secures her a seat under his mentorship after a scandal rocks the organization.
The story delves into themes of discipline, respect, and resilience as Aima deals with intense training that tests her limitations while simultaneously tackling personal and societal difficulties. Along the process, misunderstandings develop, and Aima learns about her mother’s sacrifices and the complexity of her coach’s past.
In the show’s emotional climax, Aima prevails, winning both the national championship and the coveted World Open, and delivers a powerful victory speech in which she thanks everyone who helped shape her journey.
The film stars Noman Ijaz, Laiba Khan, Sahiba Rambo (Afzal), and Tipu Sharif. Sitaron Se Agay, produced by Shazia Wajahat, is shaping up to be one of the season’s most anticipated dramas.
