Waris Baig is a popular and skilled singer in Pakistan, noted for his soulful voice and dynamic performances. Waris Baig had a successful singing career, with various songs that captured the hearts of millions of admirers throughout the world. His popular songs are Kal Shab, Saathi Mere, A Pyar Dil Mein Jaga, Karan Main Nazara, and others. Waris Baig is currently not singing because his several established enterprises provide him with the majority of his income.

Recently, Waris Baig appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me. During the podcast, he discussed Coke Studio’s trustworthiness, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Wasim Akram.

He said, I haven’t received any offers from Coke Studio; I’m not sure why, but I believe they didn’t consider me. Since I produce original music, and Coke Studio’s pattern is to redo old songs. All they’ve been doing is collecting ancient folk melodies and songs and covering them. Coke Studio hasn’t generated a single song in these years. Pasoori arrived after 15 years, and this year’s Coke Studio was a flop. It has turned into a humor studio. As a vocalist, I haven’t sang any cover songs by choice; instead, I gave one homage, singing Jaan E Baharan, which was well received by the listeners.”

When asked about making Chahat Fateh Ali Khan into a star, Waris Baig replied, “What can we say, people hear him too.” We’ve watched a reel of Wasim Akram, who did a reel on a lousy singer; it’s concerning that he may make a video about Noor Jahan’s song. You’re pushing things like that. It’s as if we’re starting to appreciate an unprofessional bowler rather than a seasoned bowler like Wasim Akram, and you can see how confidently he’s coupled Fateh Ali Khan with his name; simply be Chahat.” Here’s a link to the video:
