Pakistan’s well-known anchor, Waseem Badami, visited the grave of the late Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain at the beginning of Ramadan and offered prayers for him.
On this occasion, Waseem Badami shared a special video message in which he praised Dr. Aamir Liaquat’s contributions to Ramadan transmissions. He also requested viewers to remember the late anchor in their prayers during this holy month.
Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain laid the foundation for Ramadan transmissions on Pakistani television. Through his hosting of Sehri and Iftar programs, he encouraged goodness and helping others.
His designed transmissions included religious guidance from scholars, cooking segments, quiz shows, and entertainment, which made him extremely popular among viewers.
In his video, Waseem Badami also showed the grave of renowned comedian Umer Sharif and remarked, “How the earth has swallowed such great people.” He prayed for the forgiveness of both the late personalities and everyone else.
