Sister Anam Mirza also confirmed the divorce between Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza in a statement issued on the social media platform Instagram.

He wrote in the note that ‘Sania has always kept her private life hidden from the people, but today it is necessary to share the most that Shoaib and Sanya have been divorced for a few months’.

He conveyed the message of the Indian tennis star to the fans and said, “Sania expresses her best wishes for her ex-husband Shoaib’s new life”.

Anam Mirza requested the fans to appeal to all fans at this critical time of Sania’s life not to pay attention to any false news and to take care of privacy.

It should be remembered that on January 20, 2024, Shoaib Malik confirmed his marriage to actress Sana Javed by sharing his wedding photos for the second time. He wrote in the caption ‘Alhamdulillah’.

Both are married to each other for the second time, Sana Javed first got married to singer Umeer Jaiswal in October 2020, after one and a half years there were rumors of divorce between them but both did not officially confirm it.

Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza got married in April 2010, after 8 years of marriage, their first son was born on 30 October 2018.

Rumors of separation and divorce between the two stars initially surfaced in December 2022.

Later, on January 20, Sania Mirza’s father briefly told the Indian media that his daughter had divorced Shoaib Malik.

In addition, sources close to the family of the former captain of the national team told Dawn News that Sania Mirza was unhappy with Shoaib’s friendship and association with other women in the country, due to which she decided to divorce.
