What is the truth behind the controversial scene in a Pakistani drama?
Two videos that went viral on social media have caused a stir. These clips, taken from Pakistani dramas, allegedly showed bold scenes involving the hero and heroine, leaving everyone shocked and outraged.
As soon as the clips went viral, users expressed astonishment, questioning how such immoral content could be shown in a Pakistani drama. Social media users criticized the private TV channel’s drama serial, targeting the hero, heroine, and director.
Expressing strong displeasure, users commented that Pakistan is an Islamic country, and its cultural values do not allow such vulgarity.
Prominent journalists and well-known social media accounts also shared these videos with severe criticism, demanding action from PEMRA.
The viral clips seemingly showed the hero and heroine kissing. However, the truth is that both videos were created using artificial intelligence (AI), combining scenes from two different drama series.
One clip was from the drama “Ishq Murshid,” featuring Bilal Abbas Khan and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, while the other was likely from the drama “Jaan Nisar,” starring Danish Taimoor and Hiba.
Upon watching the original episodes of these dramas, it becomes clear that there was nothing inappropriate in the scenes. In the original sequences, the hero and heroine are merely talking.
However, these scenes were manipulated using AI technology to create a misleading impression and then spread online. The AI-modified clips were made to appear as if the actors were kissing, while the reality was entirely different.
