Yasir Hussain said that he likes Canada for one reason only—because six years ago, during an award show in Toronto, he developed a liking for actress Iqra Aziz, and later, he married her in Pakistan.

Speaking at the event, Yasir shared that Iqra had lost her mobile phone at the award show, and out of 12,000 people, he was the only one who found and returned it to her.
He also mentioned that Google has listed his birthplace incorrectly—he was born in Karachi, not Peshawar, and he spent his childhood in Rawalpindi.
Yasir Hussain added that he feels no shame in asking for donations for hospitals and charities in Pakistan, a lesson he learned from Abdul Sattar Edhi.
During the event, the Pakistani community donated a large amount to Indus Hospital to provide prosthetic legs for disabled individuals.
