Why Has Aamir Khan Not Taken Any Payment as an Actor for 20 Years?
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan revealed that he has not taken any fixed payment for his films in the last 20 years. In a recent interview, Aamir explained that he follows a different method to earn money from movies. Instead of taking a fixed salary, he earns only if the film becomes a hit. If the movie does well, he makes money, but if it flops, he also suffers a loss.
This means his earnings depend on the film’s success. He takes a percentage of the total profit instead of a set fee.
Shah Rukh Khan has also used this method. For example, in his blockbuster movie Pathaan, he earned more than 50% of the film’s total profit instead of taking a fixed amount, which made him huge profits.
Recently, Aamir Khan admitted that he went into depression due to film failures. Actress Kareena Kapoor also shared that when Laal Singh Chaddha did not perform well at the box office, Aamir was deeply affected.
Aamir Khan will soon be seen in his next movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, which is the sequel to his 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par.
