A case has been registered against TikToker Rajab Butt, Haider Shah, Mann Dogar, and seven others, with a decision to include PECA Act sections.
The plaintiff accused Rajab Butt and his associates of harassment and threats on TikTok.
According to SSP Investigation, legal consultation is ongoing to apply PECA Act sections in the case against Rajab.
Notably, the case was filed by social media artist Umar Fayaz against Rajab Butt, Mann Dogar, Haider Shah, and others.
As per the FIR, the plaintiff stated that early in the morning, Rajab, Mann Dogar, and Haider Shah arrived at his house with armed men. During a TikTok live session, Mann Dogar allegedly used abusive language and issued threats.
All accused have secured interim bail and joined the investigation. Police confirmed that the case will proceed under the PECA Act along with other charges.
